My girl Roxy is truly the sweetest, but once on the leash she becomes aggressive, lunging, pulling and barking at any other dog that walks past us. It was impossible to take her for walks or hikes, making me feel like I had no control over my dog. After a few sessions with Drea, I was given the correct tools, adjustments and training that I needed to feel confident in walking my dog. She responded so well to Drea's training. In just minutes she was already showing such improvement. I was instantly impressed with Drea's intuitive and confident approach to training.
After the session we tried what we had learned at the dog park by my apartment. A lady walked by and noted how well behaved my dog was! Honestly, I could have cried! I was beyond elated, l now have the confidence I needed, to train her to be the best puppers ever. Thank you Drea! Highly recommend her for any training needs! She's truly got a great gift.

Before hiring Drea our Brodie our 10 month old lab, was out of control. We were losing hope that we could keep him after 2 major expensive surgeries from his ingesting anything in sight. The first day we worked with Drea, we were amazed at what she could easily get him to to do. He learned to listen!! Hope was restored. Basically Drea trained us to be in charge and to lead him to the right decisions. Her training has been life changing. We have also referred her to sever of our friends.

I adopted Jasper on 11/17/20 (Covid - pup !Yay!). He had an unknown history but had extremely bad injuries due to being hit by a car (we can only guess). This resulted in a very frightened, anxious dog. Since we adopted him, I have been unable to leave the house without getting a sitter, daycare or taking him with me. We tried it ALL, crating, thundershirt, pheromones, different meds, cbd oil. Nothing worked, I finally found the right combination for Jasper. We found a trainer (our 3rd), Drea who gave us a training plan that made sense and worked for Jasper's separation anxiety (and his leash aggression).
We also put him back on a med that didn't work before without the proper training to accompany it. I am happy to say that Jasper now lays down and/or sleeps when we leave the house. He used to pace, drool, whine, cry, screech, and howl. Now he's at peace. Lots of patience and about two months to fine tune the training and see the final result. Finding the right trainer for YOUR dog and potentially some temporary medications to calm the brain so its receptive to training are the keys. Drea was extremely responsive. She answered texts within that day, usually faster.
Drea also video chatted if we needed to tweak our training plan or make sure my corrections were effective. Drea also fixed Jasper's leash aggression. Walks with Jasper are wonderful now, not the angst-ridden necessity they used to be. This is the best money we ever spent. My calm, happy pup agrees.

Bella was reactive to dogs & people, extremely over-excitable and resource guard's toys and food with other dogs. She still has some stranger danger, but much more impulse control and looks to me for guidance. She effectively learned “leave it” which has made a huge difference in her resource guarding. She’s become more accepting of dogs sharing her food and toys. We now have a communication system in place to keep us both more levelheaded in potentially stressful situations.

I met Drea at Lowes while she was training with another client. She was nice enough to answer a few questions about Service Dogs and give me her information. My daughter Audrey has Autism, any parent with an Autistic child knows the challenges that come with loving that AMAZING child. Audrey would pick at her hands and bite her nails until they bled. Nothing we did could persuade her to stop.
We met with Drea and inquired about what it would take to make our German shepherd mix Ryder a Service Dog for Audrey. We worked on Training several tasks such as: interrupting the nail bitting/ picking, finding mom & dad, and crowd control when we are in public and having Ryder alert us when Audrey is having a dissociative episode.
I can not express the tremendous relief training Ryder to preform these tasks has brought to our family. During training sessions Drea was very patient with Audrey especially if she was having a bad day. Drea also checked in between sessions to guide us on whatever we were struggling with.
Drea also educated us on ADA laws regarding Service Animals. We also role played a situation on if someone were to deny us access. We haven't had to deal with this in real life, but we are prepared if the situation ever presents itself. Thank you Drea for bringing some piece of mind and harmony into our lives.

Drea came over to help train our 2 rescue dogs, Sandy and Bailey. After having the dogs for over two years, we were over their constant pulling on walks and incessant barking attacks when loud trucks drove by. After our first 4 sessions with Drea by the time she left, both dogs had completely reversed their behavior. She taught us exactly what we needed to do to reinforce positive behavior in our dogs. Also how to build a proper foundation that will keep them calm and obedient. Her rates are also very reasonable for the work she does. I would highly recommend Drea for anyone who feels their dog (ADULT or puppy) may need a little extra help with behavioral issues.

Before training with Drea, Daisy didn't know basic obedience commands and was reactive with her toys and not as well behaved and socialized as we would've liked. After training with Drea, Daisy is much better behaved, much less reactive, and she knows a lot of commands. I learned that Daisy has to let go of her toys and show obedience, and she will do so under the right training circumstances.

Drea is AMAZING. We hired her when we adopted a new puppy at 11 months. Nova's previous owner did nothing for her in regards to training, so we had to start from the beginning. Nova was a biter, aggressive at times, and a chewer. After the first few sessions with Drea, and follow through on our part, she was like a completely different dog. She listened, obeyed commands, and avoided chewing the kids toys.
We had a neighborhood party and all of my neighbors were so impressed by Nova, as she sat next to me, off leash and docile. In fact, one of my neighbors called Drea too, after seeing Nova's improvement. I can't thank Drea enough. She definitely knows her stuff. She was always available to answer questions for us even after the training sessions were over. I highly recommend her for all your dog training needs. Thanks again!

Iso had several different issues we needed to work on: she was very aggressive, excessive barking, poor leash manners, chewed up the house, ignore basic commands outside the house, afraid in new environments, jump on the guest.
After Iso's training with Drea she is now showing calmness. She doesn't jump people anymore. She listened to basic commands such as: sit and stay, let go and leave it. Iso no longer pulls on leash and has a very good heel. Right now Iso is training again to be a full certified service dog for my son with Autism.
I learn to establish communication with Iso, I learn to give boundaries. I also learn to create a schedule specifically for Iso only. The most important of all is I learned how to give Iso her own space.

Before hiring a trainer, my dog's behavior was challenging. They lacked basic obedience skills, struggled with commands, pulled on the leash during walks, and barked excessively. These behaviors made our time together stressful and frustrating.
After hiring a Drea for my dog, her behavior has significantly improved. She has learned and basic obedience commands such as "sit," "stay," and "come." Her response to these commands is now consistent, making it easier to control her in various situations. She pulls on the leash less during walks and instead walk calmly by my side, enhancing our outdoor experiences. Additionally, her excessive barking has been greatly reduced, creating a more peaceful environment for everyone. Thanks to the training, my dog's behavior has transformed positively, resulting in a happier and more harmonious companionship.
Through the training process, I have learned the importance of consistency and positive reinforcement, setting boundaries, providing structure, and practicing patience. These lessons have greatly improved my relationship with my dog, fostering clear communication, trust, and a deeper understanding between us.
